Navarathri Kolu today is not just a set of dolls collected over the years. It has become a platform for novel interpretations of mythology, where tradition meets cultural changes. Through Kolu one can demonstrate a storytelling with set design.

Pujyasri Akka always introduces a theme every year. And this year Nandalala Kolu will depict “SRI MARUTHI PRABHAVAM”

a) The  book titled  ‘SEEDS” , ( which is the English translated version of PUJYASRI MATHIOLI SARASWATHY’S BOOK “VIDHAIGAL”),  is translated by Nandaji Sri R. Lakshminarayanan , Trustee, Nandalala Seva Samithi Trust.

b) This  book will be  released by Nandaji Sri R. Lakshminarayanan in the august presence of SRI AKKA and the first copy of “SEEDS” will be received by    Mrs Krithika Chandramouli, Cannine Coach in  her own Company , M/S PAWPAL..   

c) Dr. Balkrishna C. Rao, Asst Professor, Dept of Engineering Design, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras will speak about the book “SEEDS”

2. "NIJAMANA NINAIVUGAL – VOLUME 2"

a) The Second  book titled  "NIJAMANA NINAIVUGAL – VOLUME 2" ( Collection of experiences with SRI AKKA)  is written by  Nandaji   Sri R. Lakshminarayanan, Trustee, Nandalala Seva Samithi Trust.

b) This  book will be  released by Nandaji Sri R. Lakshminarayanan in the august presence of SRI AKKA  and the first copy of  "NIJAMANA NINAIVUGAL – VOLUME 2" will be received by Nandaji Sri.N.S. Ramanathan.(popularly known as ANNAIDASAN), EDITOR of Tamil Section of “FLUTE” magazine.    

c) Nandaji Ms.Soundarya Ramji will speak about Nijamana Ninaivugal – Volume 2.
