After having celebrated Krishna Jayanthi on 17th August 2014 we have
the joy of Krishna’s Kondattam once again
with Shree Jayanthi which is being celebrated with pomp and gaiety at
Nandalala from14th Sept - 20th Sept
Nandalala’s 2014 Shree Jayanthi is a celebration not only of Lord Krishna
but of prayers to Devaki Devi and is both a celebration and reverence of motherhood
Special Highlight
The special highlight of this Shree Jayanthi at Nandalala is the prayer to
Devaki Devi, the Mother of Lord Krishna.
A Special Shrine has been created for Devaki Devi at Nandalala
that will remain open from 14th Sept for 45 days.
Access to this Special Devaki Shrine
is restricted only to Women
(Includes Female Children, Women of all ages - Young & Old!)
Men (including boys) can seek blessings by doing pradakshana
on the outer perimeter of the shrine
Devaki Devi Shrine Darshanam Timings
14 Sept 2014: 9am - 12 noon & 6pm – 7:30pm
During the 44 days thereafter: 7:30am - 10:30am & 5:30pm - 8:30pm
